The high-spirited and energetic conference organised by project partner Szolidáris Gazdaság Központ and its community energy incubator Transzformátor Közösségi Energia Központ focused on legal regulations, and introduced several groundbreaking community energy initiatives navigating an unsupportive but changing policy landscape.
Speakers included civic energy community initiators, experimental municipalities, energy experts and the Head Of Electricity Department at the Ministry of Energy.
Marton Fabok from the Solidarity Economy Centre gave an overview of community energy models in practice, and ENERGY4ALL pilot participant Kazan Energy Community showcased its achievements so far at the Kazán Community House, a collectively owned building with various civic entities.
